Hi, I’m Katie!
I’m a pet portrait artist based out of Raleigh, NC. I’ve been creating art my entire life, but began pursuing realistic drawing and painting at the age of 15. I first began offering portrait commissions in college, and have spent well over a decade honing my craft.
Utilizing my gifts as a highly sensitive person and energy healer, I do my best to capture the spirit of your pet as I draw. I specialize in creating realistic pastel portraits – both for living pets and as memorial portraits.

I just can’t get over it… I am never at a loss for words and I just can’t describe what it feels like to look at this. You captured her perfectly but it feels like so much more than that. The part of her that feels lost and gone after she died feels somehow brought back to life in this portrait… She was the best dog and while we have her ashes and lots of memories, this portrait feels like all the untethered-ness left behind after she was gone has come together.
